Lavender cottage at Houtkapperspoort is one of only three one-bedroom properties.

The main downstairs area is the open-plan lounge/ kitchen.
The lounge has comfortable sofa and faces the central garden area at HKP, fireplace for winter, air-con for summer.
Smart TV waiting for you to load your preferred streaming service, fibre internet connection and both of these are covered by a invertor to keep the power on during load-shedding.
The kitchen is well equipped with oven/ stovetop, microwave, compact Fridge and washing machine.

This cottage is perfect for a solo traveller, couple looking for a great base to explore.
The couch in the lounge can convert to a comfortable sleeper couch, so you have the possibility of adding a third person, if they are a teen or above. (The balcony upstairs isn’t suitable for toddlers or small children, as you'll see in the pictures).
Upstairs is the bedroom suite, with large light bedroom, with amazing views over the estate grounds to the mountains beyond, you really feel like you are sleeping in the trees in Lavender Cottage!
Lavender features an ensuite bathroom, with walk-in shower.
The bonus feature is the 1st floor balcony right off the bedroom, with seating area for morning coffee or evening sun-downer with your stunning view of the whole estate.
